Jono wanted me to do a before and after photo so he can see the difference…..and what a huge difference!!!
Last night was a partial eclipse of the moon. I was hanging out of the window trying to take photos. Here’s one:
Andy has been bad these last couple of days. So has been confined to bed. He did manage to get up for about half an hour last night so we could all see the New Year in together.
Today I was in the kitchen cooking the dinner and looking at the snow and ice (again). All the birds were down eating the food I’ve been putting out for them and then this fella arrived:
I had never seen a bird like this before so I asked Sligo Birding and found out it’s a Jay. Not a great photo because he didn’t stay around for long.

WOW!!! That is quite remarkable. You must all be so relieved that its all over and done with (well, apart from the complete recovery bit). What wonderful photos to look at and start 2010 with! x
