Ok I’m early but never mind.
We are still ‘iced’ in. I tried to get out yesterday and Bertie (the car) just slid across the drive. I didn’t want to leave him there incase he ended up sliding into the road. So I went out with salt and a shovel and managed to clear a bit around the wheels so I could move him.
Today is even worse. As you can see in this pic:
It’s been a funny old year. It seems like one thing after another. First we found out Jono needed surgery, then just over a week after my dad died.
Then a month after that we had to move.
The big battle with the health service started a few months afterwards.
It feels like the end of an era. The Irish Daily Mail phoned me yesterday to do an update on Jonathans story. So it was in todays paper, but I couldn’t get out to buy it.
It’s great to feel that we can now close that chapter and hopefully next year will be a happier, healthier and calmer one.
To all of you out there, I wish you a very Happy New Year, thanks for your comments and support. You’ve been great. xx
I hope you managed to get a copy of the newspaper. If not, maybe you could phone the local shop and ask them to keep one for you?
Good to hear Jono’s over the operation – hope he’s recovering and doing well and hope Andy’s back is better.
Here’s hoping 2010 brings good luck with it for everyone!
The mail are going to send me a copy of the paper. Mum has got one held for her in the local shop.
Jono is doing really well thanks.
Andy not so well, he’s stuck in bed today so it will be a quiet New Years Eve here.
I hope you and your family have a wonderful 2010 xx
Wishing you and your family a very Happy New Year 🙂
Happy New Year to you Lady Banana 😀
All my very best wishes to you all…
