Well we are still snowed in…..and I’m so fed up of it. I’m meant to be taking Jono to the GP tomorrow or Wednesday to have his stitches removed but our lane is like an ice rink at the moment.

Luckily we have had friends bringing us shopping, which has been a great help.

The photo is Jono on St. Stephens Day (Boxing Day), 11 days after his spinal fusion surgery. He had a rough night last night though and was in a lot of pain, poor thing.

Andy had to spend the day in bed yesterday because he was very ‘wobbly’. Lucy spent half the day in bed….because she likes sleeping 🙂


I have to say a big thank you to the scoliosis support website. If it wasn’t for help and advice from there I would never have known that spinal fusions had to be carried out in Dublin.
The photo below is of Jono before and after his surgery, you may not want to look if you are squeamish, it’s to give people that may be going to have the operation an idea of the difference it has made to his kyphosis.
