Above is the article that was in yesterdays Irish Daily Mail. The photo and interview were done on Saturday when we were at the Hilton Hotel.
We were saying that Jono got his out patients appointment just after he was first mentioned in the newspaper. The appointment was today.
We got the news that we were hoping for. All being well Jonathan will have his surgery on October 27th! We are all shocked but very pleased and also very apprehensive. It’s a five hour operation and will be carried out in Tallaght Hospital in Dublin.
Before then Jono has to have a pre-op assessment which is booked for October 19th.
I just want to say a big thank you to the Irish Daily Mail, The Sligo Champion and The Irish Star Sunday for highlighting Jonathan’s story and also a massive thanks to everyone out there who sent messages of support, we really appreciate it. xxx
