Havin’ A Coffee – October 2017

After the phenomenal success of the Chari-Tea Coffee Morning for Havin’ A Laugh I’ve decided to have another one. This time is just a social one for people to meet for a cuppa and a chat. It’s on Monday 23rd October in The Blind Tiger, Sligo from 10am – 12 noon and all are welcome.

I think there’s a real need for these mornings to meet other friendly faces, of course that said  I might be there on my own this time around! There are so many people struggling with mental health issues – I know – I’m one of them. Or people feeling isolated, lonely or just might be new to the area and in need of a friend. Or bring a friend and make some new friends.

The Havin’ a Laugh Charity promotes Life enhancing activities for positive mental health. Enjoy this monthly social occasion for your own sense of wellbeing and every few months there will be a raffle and fundraiser for the Havin’ a Laugh Charity.

Sincere thanks to everyone who came along or supported the Chari-Tea Coffee morning last month. A whopping €1292.31 was raised which is just amazing! So thank you all so much and of course a thank you to all of the following:

The Blind Tiger – Chris, Sinead, Patricia and Sarah. They were so kind and generous, we ended up taking over the cafe and they didn’t take a cent in payment from us for anything including the drinks.

Osta, The Food Centre, East Coast Bakehouse, Cafe Fleur, Kate’s Kitchen, Sweet Beat, O’Hehir’s Bakery, Aj Heraghty, Carrie Hughes, Aine McCarthy, Marie Casserly. Thank you so much for donating such gorgeous food!
