We had quite a heavy frost yesterday morning…so bad I had to dig out the de-icer for the car (I think it’s a bit too soon for that!) It was a misty morning but it did make for some great photo opportunities.
The photos were taken in Doorly Park at Lough Gill. It’s so easy to see where W. B. Yeats got some of his inspiration from.
I’m very lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the world.
As the day progressed the fog lifted and we had a beautiful sunny day…better late than never after our disastrous summer.
Beautiful photos of real “mystery” – Thanks.
Thank you 🙂

Thank you! 🙂
You are spoiling me — your misty morning depiction came wrapped in all the mystic I’ve come to expect 😉
It was a wonderful morning 🙂
I would definitely print a large print of the first photograph in this series. Lovely photos! Love the lighting.

Stunning. Particularly the first one. And yes, you really do live in a beautiful part of the world:-)

Wonderful moody images, especially love the first one.
Thanks Mairead 🙂
Lovely pictures. It is nice to be out so early on mornings like these – especially with a camera. Haven’t we been lucky with so much sunshine recently!
We’ve had some wonderful weather, about time as we didn’t get much of a Summer this year.
I’m new to your blog and am enjoying a look around…these photos stopped me in my tracks, though. Beautiful! Now, to more looking around…
Thanks Elizabeth 🙂
