Snovember

Snovember, originally uploaded by magnum_lady.

Well as you can see we have snow in Sligo. I’m not a big fan of the snow. It’s lovely to look at but no fun when you have to drive in it and gritters appear to be a rare occurance in our neck of the woods. Still it does make for some nice photos.

I had to go to a parent teacher meeting on Friday at Lucy’s school. I usually go into my ‘we’re not worthy mode’ and shuffle into the room making no eye contact. I did OK this time though (I think). The parent teacher meetings consist of all the teachers sitting around the edge of the room and the parents sitting on benches in the middle of the room. When there is a ‘vacancy’ with a teacher it’s a mad rush of parents to see who can get there first!

Anyway I’m delighted with the reports I got about Lucy. They all said she is doing really well and most importantly they said what a polite, well mannered girl she is. So well done to Lucy 😀 We are very proud.

    1. Thanks Michelle. It’s very bad here and we are meant to be going to Dublin tomorrow 😦
This is the best meeting I’ve had about Lucy, so very pleased.
Ssh about the January thing. He’s meant to be seeing them in a couple of weeks….but not if the roads are like this. x
