The show must go on.

This photo was taken last night in Sligo town. Jono went out for dinner with a group of friends, which was lovely for him. While he was out Lucy and I went to the cinema. There wasn’t much on so we went to see Bridesmaids again, it was just as funny the second time πŸ™‚

Today I had to take the kids for eye tests and also go to a meeting with Jono about his course. Both went fine, it was one of those days where you rush around everywhere and don’t seem to get anything done though. On the way into Sligo on the N4 there were four highway maintenance trucks warning of delays ahead. In the end it turned out it was for two ride on lawnmowers cutting the grass verges. Both were cutting the same bit of grass…..only in Ireland eh!?

Lucy and I had our lunch in the Bagel Bar. It was the first time I’d ever been in there. I ordered a veggie bagel which looked lovely on the menu, when mine arrived it had four bits of feta cheese in it and what looked like a whole red onion….don’t you love this recession?

We had a look around town and got some bits in the Enable Ireland shop. As we walked in the ‘Show must go on’ was playing. It was some cover version and nowhere near as good as the Queen version. Someone in the shop must really like it though because it played 5 times while we were there, one after the other!Β  We also got stuck behind a lady who couldn’t decide whether or not to buy a pair of shoes. I was in that bloody shop so long I felt like I’d moved in there. I’m also going to delete the ‘Show must go on’ from my iPhone because I bloody hate it now!
