Well the photo is Lucy’s sweet necklace. I put it on a tissue on the window sill (all technical stuff).
I think it makes quite a nice photo.
It’s been a very mixed week. We’ve all been feeling under the weather. Jono hasn’t been well since his day out in Dublin last week. I’m taking him to the doctor’s tomorrow. I would have taken him sooner but he kept telling me he was feeling better (when he really isn’t).
I had to go for a sinus x-ray today. I’ve been getting fairly bad migraines for years and the GP wants to rule out sinus problems. I had to tip my head back with my mouth wide open for the x-ray! That would have made a great photo.
It’s been blowing a gale here all day and as I walked back to the car I almost got walloped on the head by an election poster flying around the place. I really wish they would ban those posters, they are such a waste of money and I can’t see how looking at a photo of a politicians mug would make you want to vote for them.
Onto other news I won two competitions this week. The first one was from Warner music Ireland and it’s a 3 cd set of Cream chilled electronics, very nice 🙂
The second one is from Yeats Country Cheese which is an apron and a book of poetry by W.B. Yeats. 🙂

You are one lucky lady with all the competitions you win! Hope Jono feels better soon, I think everyone’s got some sort of bug at the moment, with the changing weather. They seem to have anchored the posters down our way with enough cable ties to stem a riot in Mountjoy – haven’t been hit by any yet! Hang in there, I don’t comment often but I do read your posts, they are a lovely insight to your life up in the wild west!
