This was the sky this evening. It’s very fitting with Halloween coming up I think.

I took my mum and Jono to Carrick on Shannon for a change today. They have a big Tesco in the retail park there. Also Woodies, Heatons, Boots and a great pound shop. I always think Tesco is early with their Christmas stock, well look what I spotted today:

This afternoon Jono went to The Crib which is a youth club in town. Lucy and I were going too look at the french market, which is in Sligo for the bank holiday weekend as part of the Sligo Live festival, but it was lashing rain so we went for a coffee instead. I do begrudge paying 2.50 for a cuppa though. If you happen to be around Sligo this weekend there is loads going on for the festival. The Stranglers are playing tonight….I tried to win tickets to see them but failed. I saw them in the late 80’s at The Reading Rock festival and they were great.

I found this blog this evening with funny shop names. I had to laugh about Lino Richie the flooring shop!
