7310359298_4046566f8b_oI’m still plodding on with the Sligo-Secrets page. New pages added include Ladies Brae.

  1. This picture would easily win an award! I know how hard it is to set up a detailed website but it’s much appreciated, by me and many. I have put a link to it on Irish Life http://sco.lt/69tpa5

My mother was born in Screen. Doonflin, to be exact. Reading posts from you always tears at my heart strings but hey! In a good way! I have often lost myself on roads around the Ox mountains.

  2. I knew it! I just knew it as soon as I saw that photo that it was Ladies’ Brae (or on the way). It’s such a beautiful part of Sligo (but then, I’m biased when it comes to Sligo…but it truly is lovely in a quietly wild and untouched sort of way). Skreen’s like that, too.

The website is looking great, Val. I’ve already forwarded the link to a few friends in the US and they all now want to either visit or simply move to and live in Sligo. Can you blame ’em? 🙂

Thanks for all the wonderful places you take us to, and sharing the journeys you go on with us, Val. – June
