October in Rosses Point

Through the round windowI still can’t believe it’s October with this lovely weather.  I headed down to Rosses Point the other day to take a few photos and have a walk.

The Watch HouseI really like the old watch house building, the round windows are so interesting and from the inside I think it looks like an owl.

DSCF9176Of course no walk around Rosses Point is complete without a photo of the ‘Waiting on the shore’ statue.

DSCF9200The rest of my photos are here.

  1. Really nice Val. Sitting here in Richmond, Virginia, I see your photos differently from when I see them in Ireland. I think to myself how fortunate I am to be able to live in your world. 🙂

  2. Beautiful, Val. Truly beautiful. My map is getting crowded as I set a mark every time I am thrilled by your awesome photos. ‘X’ marks the spot. 🙂

  3. Love this part of Sligo. Your photos here capture the beauty and magic that is Rosses Point. I see a face in that old watch tower, too. You’ve inspired me to go for a long-overdue return visit there. Thanks for sharing, and have a lovely weekend.
