There is a farmer’s market at the Benbulben Centre in Rathcormac, Sligo every Saturday from 10am-2pm. Lots of crafts, gifts and food on sale, well worth a look. Some more photos from Saturday are here.

Thanks for uploading all these great photos, Val.
Yes, it is truly a wonderful craft market. So many very talented artists, crafters and artists under one roof. The vibe there is very friendly and relaxed. Looking for a unique, handmade Christmas or birthday prezzie? Here’s the place to find it. And then, enjoy a cuppa and a sweet treat at the Vintage Lane Cafe, which is right on the grounds, just a few steps away from the market itself.
There are also individual craft units in addition to the Saturday-only market – which is why it’s a craft village. There you’ll find some beautiful pottery and ceramic pieces and sculpture, amongst other wonderful craftsmanship and equally wonderful and talented craftspeople.
Again, it’s the perfect place for a gift for a friend, a family member…or a treat for yourself. 🙂
I’ll be there selling my personalised kitchen plaques, mandala wall hangings, fine art prints and pendants,, along with my fellow crafters, artists and bakers (and a few other foodie producers, too) every Saturday. The market opens at around 10 a.m. till around 2 p.m. It’s fully covered, so the weather’s not a problem for the vendors or shoppers. It’s right across the road from the Drumcliffe church and the magnificent and majestic Ben Bulben, only a couple of miles past Sligo town. With tons of free parking, too!
So…come on out and visit and say hello. We’d love to see you there.
Wish it wasn’t SO far away June…beautiful work! One of these days I’m going to be in Ireland and see lots of your beautiful work in person!! And thank you Val for sharing this online 🙂
Thanks, Dreama. I really appreciate that. I wish you weren’t so far away, as well. You’d be so very welcome here in Ireland. Hopefully, that day will be sooner rather than later. 🙂
Oh, to be in Sligo where it’s happening! 🙂 Judy
I’m certainly going to have to make a trip out there Val 🙂
The plaques are looking fabulous June, wish I could be there!
Ahhh…thanks for that, Trish. I’m chuffed 🙂 I wish you could visit the market (and me) too. Hopefully one day, it’ll happen.
