It’s been a bit of a mad week with a lot of toing and froing so I’m delighted it’s the weekend 🙂 Lucy was still doing part-time on her course until the end of this week when she got a place in the hairdressing class. So she will be full-time from now on….and I might be taxi driving less.
When I was in town yesterday I saw the students taking part in a protest march against the fees. Poor things were drenched because it was lashing rain.
I was like a kid in a sweetshop yesterday. There is a great shop in The Quayside, Sligo which sells all kinds of sweets. I will do a proper blog about it another day because I took more pics 🙂
I got my first Christmas card today, mad or what?? It’s way too early. I have to say I’m not a big fan of cards. I don’t mind them from family and friends but I really hate getting them from people who never keep in touch any other time of the year. I would rather they gave the card and postage money to charity. The ones I hate the most are people that can’t even be bothered to write our names in the card, they just sign their name…or even worse ‘stamp’ their name…no thought whatsoever. Anyway rant over.
