Jono and I went to the Science Fair at the IT, Sligo on Sunday. It was a great day out, packed with people of all ages, with lots to do and see.
Jono was put in the stocks….only for a little while though 😉
We loved seeing the Eagles from Eagles Flying. We also went into the mobile planetarium which was really cool….although a bit hard on the old backside as we were sitting on our bums in this big black tent…it’s a hard life 😉
We even saw Cleopatra there! We really enjoyed the ‘chemistry in a lunch box’ show. We were shown that you can get remove permanent marker from floor tiles with hairspray and loads of other things. Learning was actually fun…if only schools taught chemistry like that. The rest of my photos are here.
We also got to see a variation on the Diet Coke and Mentos experiment. Roll on next years fair 🙂
