Well I’m sure you don’t need me to tell you it was Valentine’s Day today. I always take my mum shopping on a Monday in Sligo and today was no exception.
All was going well until I noticed a man outside the town hall having a fit. Someone was calling an ambulance but the man was more or less left to his own devices. I stopped and put him in the recovery position. He had a nasty gash to his head so a man went and got tissues and applied pressure to stop the bleeding. I always need my first aid course would come in handy. The ambulance arrived and took him to hospital and I carried on. I hope the man will be OK.
When I got home I was gobsmacked to find a lovely card, big box of chocolates and a teddy bear. All in a lovely shiny bag (pictured below). We never bother really with Valentine’s Day so it was such a nice surprise 😀

Sad that the world is in such a hurry that they can’t take a minute to help out another human being in need! I now understand how you are always winning thoes prizes!! Karma! You are a good soul!

Aww thank you 🙂 I think the problem was that people wanted to help but they didn’t know what to do. I think first aid training should be compulsory in schools.
