We’ve had a couple of really beautiful days. It’s sods law, the kids go back to school and the sun comes out.
We attempted the car boot sale again yesterday. It was a waste of time. Hardly anyone turns up to look. Some of those that do just look in the door and walk away! We sold two items….wow. Made the grand total of 15 euro. The stall cost a fiver and I split the rest between the kids. Then we went to the clothes recycling bin and got rid of the clothes. I wonder why car boot sales don’t take off in Sligo.
My mum treated her and I to tickets to Tony Stockwell. He is a psychic medium. We saw him in Castlebar a few years ago and he was very good. This time he is coming to the Hawks Well theatre in Sligo on September 23rd so it should be a good night.
Temple House which is nearby is having a great festival on 10th-12th September. I would love to go but can’t afford it 😦 I’m trying to win tickets….but so far no luck. I’d really like to see Howard Jones and The Sawdoctors to name a couple of acts.

I thought Tony was brilliant. We saw him with Colin Fry, I wasn’t so impressed with Colin though.
We also saw Derek Acorah on another night…..I’ll say nothing.
