Monday blues, originally uploaded by magnum_lady.
Yes another day and more rain.
I take my mum shopping on a Monday and today we went to Carrick on Shannon instead of Sligo for a change.
It’s easier to park……and it’s free. There is a big Tesco and some other stores at the retail park so you don’t have to battle to get into town like you do with the Sligo store.
We had a nice morning. I find the people there much friendlier. The only downside was when I got home my bag of shopping split and my eggs went all over the drive! Talk about scrambled eggs for lunch.
Val,
Bad luck with the eggs!
Last week, I cracked 6 eggs into a bowl to make a quiche. I then added a dash of cream before whisking. As I went to put the ‘cream’ back in the fridge, I howled in despair… I’d added cat milk instead of cream to our eggs!
(Whiskas cat milk comes in a very similar looking bottle to Avonmore cream)
Goodbye quiche š¦
Oh no Steph. Dare I say it, I might have been tempted to try it! š
I am not working at the moment so Mondays are not what they used to be when I was working. When I worked I hated Monday’s.
Mondays and Tuesdays at the moment are our weekend. My husband works every weekend. Its strange. But of course when (and if) I do get a job it will be back to that “monday” feeling once again.
Its sooooo annoying when that happens to eggs – not the easiest things to pick up either.
Happy Tuesday!!!
Usually Mondays are fairly bad days….mind you today wasn’t great either!
