Todays photo is drinking straws. I love the colours, not too impressed with the shadow to the right of the photo though.
I took my mum to Enniskillen yesterday. We had a lovely day, although we were shattered when we got home.
I love the B&M shop, which is now where Woolworths was. I got a table for £5 and a full size mirror for £6. They sell everything, furniture, food, electrical……it’s brilliant. I wish we had one here in Sligo.
I also stocked up in Iceland and the freezer is now full 🙂 Asda was lovely and quiet which makes a nice change, so we actually got to look down every section.
Big news for Sligo this week, that Leonard Cohen is playing Lissadell at the end of July. It was a bit of will he won’t he, as it was announced on his website and then taken down again. The tickets go on sale on Monday so if you have 80 euro spare you can grab a ticket.

I love the photo, great colours! And Leonard Cohen – swoon – I saw him in Dublin last year – or was it the year before! I forgot the date, but the concert was unforgettable, the best I have ever seen I think. Lissadell, hmm…
Thanks Cathy. From what I’ve read the only concert Leonard is doing is in Sligo.
Great photo! I love the way so many of the old Woolworths have turned into other shops – ours is still empty.
Thanks. I missed Woolworths but this shop is much better.
I can’t keep saying wow – can I???
Wow is always good 😀
Thanks for brightening up the day (even if I am a day late).
I heard that concert advertised on the radio today – it is a real scoop for Sligo. Did I hear right that it’s an outdoor concert? I hope we have better weather this summer!
I’d say it would be an outdoor concert….hmm that’s got to be worrying though….umbrellas at the ready I’d say.
