An Irish Traffic Jam

Winter arrived this morning. I went out to Bertie and he was all iced up, because I wasn’t expecting it I didn’t have any de-icer left out so I had to scrape the windscreen. It was really foggy as well and it never ceases to amaze me the amount of muppets that drive in the fog without lights on. One woman was yapping away on her mobile phone in her dark car……madness.

I went for a walk up our old lane today and got caught in the traffic jam above. I stood in by the side of the road and a few of the cows stopped to have a look at me, luckily they carried on walking. When I got up to the lake at the top of the lane there were a couple of goats there, one of them winked at me….you’ll find him on my flickr page.

The article about Jono’s surgery date was in the Irish Daily Mail today:

  1. That’s a good news story at last! Gosh he looks a lot like you doesn’t he? I love your traffic jam. It beats ours any day! Oh how I long for Paul to be well enough to travel down to Leitrim for a few days. Soon, Soon….love Pam

Was chatting to a guy from an organisation that deal with young men with AS at out conference last week! I got his details for you. Will send them on when I get to the office. Might be of use at some stage in the future! He was telling me that the lads he works with referr to themselves as “Aspies”!
