I did some washing and put it on the line. Then the wind decided to blow…..so the cat took full advantage of it and made a bed out of the clothes that fell….what a muppet.
The house has turned into an offshoot of Sligo General Hospital. Andy is still in agony with his back. Mum is still poorly and Lucys wound looks infected.
So today I took Andy to the doctors. While we were in the waiting room RTE1 had a show on about Doctors (That’s fitting). Anyway they cover all sorts of subjects but just happened today to be talking about orgasms! The tv was really loud as well, so you couldn’t not hear it. The biggest laugh of all was when they started calling them the ‘Big O’….Andy turned to me and said ‘I thought that was Roy Orbison!’
Anyway he went into the doctor and came out with yet more pain killers. I’m quite concerned because both kids have scoliosis and I thought that should be checked and also Andys leg is very numb and his foot is like a block of ice. So I really think he should have been referred to a consultant.
On top of that I’ve been flying up and down to mum. She’s not right either, so I’ve been buying her medicine to see if it helps.
Then I looked at Lucys wound and it looks a bit iffy. I phoned the hospital and they said to bring her into the doctor tomorrow and have changed our appointment in Dublin to Thursday instead of Friday…..and Thursday is the day mum is meant to be going into Sligo general for an appointment. Don’t you just wish somedays you could be in two places at once.

Jeanie Mac! Not even ‘House’ would have a caseload that heavy!!
Do know if this helps but when Brendan’s hernia scar started to look a bit iffy we put a little hydrogen peroxide on it ( available very cheaply at any chemist ) it stings a bit and starts bubbling, but boy does it clear infection.
We have a lot of stitches in this house due to hurling incidents including a stitched tongue!! Also highly recommend e45 cream for making scars far less obvious.
Regarding Andy, don’t even know if Google could help š
Take care! Hope everything comes out well with your family
