Ballymote Vintage Fun Day

The Church and the cloud
We had a lovely day today. The sun was shining (again) so we went to Ballymote to their vintage family fun day in aid of North West Hospice.

There were bouncy castles (only for the kids….I had to restrain myself from having a go). Also lots of vintage cars, ponys and traps, a double decker bus, miniature train, even the Only Fools and Horses van. A lovely old gentleman called Paddy Walsh came along complete with his mobile rambling house cottage and his wooden bicycle….he asked me if I wanted a ride…it’s a long time since anyone asked me that….ooer missus as Lucy would say 😉

There was also an ice cream van there which was great excitement for us and we never see them where we live, so we all had an ice cream….I shared mine with a wasp…lovely.
