Well for those of you who read yesterdays blog you will know the problems were having painting the top of the house.
The man that owns nextdoor was there gardening today and offered to lend us his ladder…..as we are both not great with heights it was a bit of a challenge….but we did it! My heart was pounding for most of the time and I had to remember not to look down. Only trouble is we have to do the sides of the house tomorrow!
I was shopping this morning and walked past an elderly couple holding hands. The old man could just about walk, ‘aww bless’ I thought and then I heard the man say to his wife there’s a nice young woman for me (meaning me!!) I was quite chuffed at being called young….had to laugh when I saw him go into Specsavers for an eye test ๐
well, well, well you did a good job !!
just remembered a couple of my windows need painting too, are you in for a little odd job? LOL
It’s only 1.5 times as high as yours
Oh my goodness Kees how do you manage? Our house is tall enough for me!
Lovely blog, and lovely photos on Flickr. Thanks for commenting on my blog. All the best and good luck with the painting!
Thanks Angela
Your house looks lovely – well done you!!!
Aw Val, just read your paragraph about the eldery couple to Ian and he’s still quietly chuckling away! ๐ Thank you darlin’!
The house really is looking fabulous – all that hard work has paid dividends, i bet you’re getting plenty of complements from the locals. ๐

It’s the story of my life Clare!! ๐
The house looks gorgeous! You are doing a great job. Paul is over his op and recovering well. We can breath a sigh of relief at least for a while. Best wishes…Pam
