It’s ages since I’ve written a health update so here we go. I’m happy to tell you that I’m a year off my antidepressant medication and I feel great.
I had no problem with being on the tablets (although I felt I was put on them way too quickly) but I found they made me numb. I found it hard to get enthusiastic about anything when I was on them and I also think they made my anxiety much worse.
In the last few weeks I’ve been out and about taking photos and wanting to go exploring. I really feel like I’m back to my old self. If you’ve read the blog over the last couple of years you’ll know I never thought that would happen.
So a year off the meds – I think there should be cake don’t you? 😉
Why certainly there should be cake to celebrate 🎈🎉😉
Congratulations Val! So proud of you and the journey have shared with all of us. You have been a true inspiration. Hugs and love!
There is a life out there. And you have found it you are giving pleasure to others with your. photography and ability to describe and depict your lovely contry , I am sure there are many other ways. In which you have found yourself again. But I wish you a happy life. And many blessings to come. Congratulations.
Well done Val! Yes there should be cake🎂🎂. What do you like? Lemon or chocolate?
Thank you. I like any kind of cake, although I’m leaning towards lemon more these days 😀
Good for you! I was in Sligo ( near Easkey and Mullaghmore) on Tuesday as I needed a shot for my latest story and I was thinking of you. The coast line there is always so healing for me. Nice one! 🙂
