This morning was a beautiful clear morning with no frost. I had college so I parked the car and walked into town, I got a bit distracted by the reflections though and was almost late for class!!
I always seem to be drawn to boats, I’ve no idea why because I’m fairly useless on them!
I did get slightly carried away with the photos (so what’s new!!)

Lovely photos. Happy thanksgiving
I’ve finally gotten a new keyboard (I’ve been without a fully working one for over a week now, and all I’ve been able to do is just use the mouse and about half the keyboard keys – arrggghhh!) and it feels great to be able to post comments once again.
These are beautiful photos, Val, and it’s completely understandable and natural to me to be drawn to boats – it’s the water. As much as I love forests and mountains – and this beautiful country (and this beautiful county of Sligo) has an abundance of them – for me, it’s always been anywhere near the ocean…anything to do with any body of water. The sea, rivers, lakes, streams…and definitely waterfalls.
As beautiful as Ireland naturally is without the sun beaming down, it is absolutely glorious when the sun does pay us a very welcomed visit. Your photos today reflect that – pun irresistible and very true.
It was lovely seeing you and Rocket-Dog at the Ben Bulben craft market this past Saturday. Come and pay us a visit any time – especially as there are new stalls and new crafters being added with each passing week (and it’s the perfect place to find that perfect Christmas prezzie). It’s a fantastic market and craft village – and across from such an amazing view of the mighty and majestic Ben Bulben. Did you check out the great cafe while you were there?
I’m running away with myself on this new keyboard, so I’ll hush up now 🙂 Am going to check out of your other photos from this morning’s stroll.
looks like it was a stunning day, Val…you captured it to beautifully, I feel like I was there. : )
Thanks Elizabeth 🙂
What a beautiful clear day! The photos are so sharp and lovely!
Thanks 🙂
The pictures are wonderful! I love the colorful boats, reflected in the water–that seems to be a regular sight in Ireland and Cornwall–gorgeous!
It’s lovely on a clear day. Thanks for your comment 🙂
Amazing photos! Colours, reflections in the water, pure autumn magic…
Thank you 🙂
Beautiful pics Val, I know what you mean about boats, it all looks so calm and peaceful. I’m useless on them also until I get the old Kwells down me then I’m ok. Needs must for scuba diving 🙂
Thanks Claire and I’m the same. Three kwells to Innismurray and I was still ill!
I’m surprised you were still awake on 3 Kwells 🙂 bless you, it’s got to be the worst feeling on earth, I feel for you x
Thanks Claire x
Gorgeous photos, Val. Love the reflections of the boats on water!
