Thursday June 13th, 2013 will see Sligo celebrate the second annual Yeats Day. Sligo will come alive with a dawn to dusk celebration with something for everyone to enjoy.
Come along and join in the party in O’Connell Street from 3-6pm. Or why not have breakfast on Lough Gill.

Not only can you enjoy breakfast on Lough Gill, but check out the 4.30pm Hazelwood Heritage Society-Rose of Inishfree cruise that will include Yeats poetry readings and music. I took it last year and it was one of the loveliest things I had ever done in Sligo.
