Yesterday was a lovely day in Sligo. The shopping centres came to life with the sounds of choirs taking part in the Sligo International Choral Festival. As if that wasn’t enough there were also lots of activities taking place as part of Craftfest Northwest.
It was great to see the artists at work. We have such talented people here in Sligo and what a great way to get to see their art.
There were also workshops taking part for all age groups. From making birdhouses to making birds. Icing cupcakes and making jewellery. Well done to all involved for making Sligo so colourful. The rest of my photos are here.

I would have enjoyed taking part…. I’m singing in a German women’s choir “choryfeen” myself. Loving music anyway….
That’s great eislilly. I’d like to be in a choir…but I can’t sing!
Can’t believe that ;-D Val… everybody can….!!! So enjoy listening at least and have fun with music….
