On Wednesday I joined a walking group run by Sligo Sport and Recreation Partnership we had a walk around Mullaghmore.
It was a lovely day so I arrived early for a walk along the beach. It seemed the cows had the same idea!
These two were getting a bit to close for comfort 😉
I was really surprised to see the cows eating seaweed…they must know the beneficial effects of it.
Anyway the walk was great, it was around an hour and there was a great turn out (we left the cows on the beach). I got chatting to a really interesting man called Eddie. He was telling me about WesternWaves FM which is an online community radio station covering North Sligo, South Donegal and North Leitrim. It’s well worth a listen.

wow very brave to get so close….I have a stupid, stupid fear of them getting too close , a cow sat on my school bag once while talking a short cut to school that must have caused it !
I love cows. It’s a good job because I’m surrounded by them!
