Off the rails and nuts ;)

Well Off the Rails on tour in Sligo was on TV last night. I went around to my friends house with Lucy and we watched it together as we were all in the audience. There was a lot of cringing going on. To be honest they didn’t show a whole lot of Sligo. We were at the filming for four hours. It was all going very well and I didn’t think we’d be shown until right near the end and you can clearly see me in the background pulling the most gormless look possible.

If you are in Ireland and have nothing better to do you can watch the show on here (blink and you’ll miss me).

If you aren’t in Ireland and you want to see a small bit of the show (with us in the background) have a look here:

I had to bring my car to Boyle today. It’s been running a bit rough I thought. I’m mortified though because I said to the mechanic about ‘Revving the nuts off it!’  He just looked at me.

On the way to Boyle I stopped at the Gaelic Chieftain which is a sculpture along the N4. If you want to find out more about it click here.

Boyle is a nice little town. I took a couple of photo’s while I was waiting for the car to be fixed.

  1. Hey I saw this Off the Rails – loved the girl’s coat – the one she designed with the big sleeves. Thought she should’ve won but they gave it to the edgy guy! I normally don’t watch OTR but I was kinda drawn to this one. Sorry to say I didn’t recognise you in it – must look again! You are great to get about so much , shows in Dublin and being on the spot in Sligo!
Love the Chieftain sculpture – we have the sheaves of corn on the N25 called Golden harvest. Have a look at it here http://deise-dispatches.blogspot.com/2011/03/spring-has-sprung-road-art-spotted.html
All the best Catherine. (Didn’t make the bbc Skippy Dies this month – very bad! )
