Angels and passports

I think that could make a good book 😉

Yesterday was fairly eventful. I have been meaning to apply for a passport for quite a while and actually got around to doing it. So my passport arrived yesterday and I am now officially Irish. My parents are Irish but I was born in the UK so I could get either passport….but the Irish one is cheaper 🙂

I had to go into town yesterday afternoon so Jono and I went to The Model whilst we were there. They have an exhibition on at the moment called Angelology it’s by Ilya and Emilia Kabakov. The picture above is of the ‘Fallen angel’. From what I can make out of the exhibition, (and I’m not too well up on these kind of things), is that we all have angels inside and you should spend sometime each day trying to make yourself a better person. We met a lovely lady in The Model she is an invigilator and travels all the way from Dublin every Friday to work there. It’s very relaxing to go around the building and just to take time out.

And now for something completely different. I was being nosey on the internet last night and spotted this house for sale. What a bargain at only 29,000 euro! So if anyone out there is keen on DIY and looking for a project this might be just the thing.
