Sunshine and showers

More showers than sunshine it has to be said. I don’t know what happened to the Summer, June appears to have taken it with it 😦 So as it was so bad I didn’t do anything much today…..apart from walking the dog and making cheese scones.

So what do I have to tell you? Well I got a bit of good news on Thursday. There was a competition on facebook to win a break at The Harlequin Hotel…..and I won 🙂 So that’s something to look forward to. It looks like a lovely place.

Jono started a computer course on Thursday, it’s only one morning a week. The only trouble was none of the computers were working…..so they all went for a walk around the town instead. While he was there I took Rocket to the vets for his kennel cough vaccination and then for a really long walk in Hazelwood Forest.

Yesterday evening Lucy went to see Twilight Eclipse at the cinema. She didn’t want to go as she’s not a fan…..but she went with her friends for the popcorn 😉 I took the dog to Strandhill and we walked from there to Culleenamore, it was freezing though, still he enjoyed it.
