Ha Ha said the pine marten, originally uploaded by magnum_lady.
Well Spring has certainly sprung (thank goodness). It was so much milder today, the snow has almost gone (although on side roads it’s still bad).
I took Lucy to school and then came home to look after my patients. Can you believe it’s a month since Jono’s surgery! Time really flies.
Anyway while I was cooking the ‘hospital dinners’ (Jono and Andy now like to have their dinner at lunch time like in the hospital), I looked out of the window and there was the Pine Marten. I haven’t seen him since June, so I grabbed the camera and took a lot of photos.

They aren’t too good because he moves very fast. I think he’s a lovely animal.
val….wow…stunning.
rarest wild animal in ireland that, a proper treat that you caught it on camera, and so well…
please…post this on the hack.
Thanks Doug, I got in touch with the National Parks and Wildlife Service and they are going to add the sighting to their database.
Love the photos. I have never seen a Pine Marten before.
Beautiful animals. Kinda reminds me of a ferret or meerkat.
So neat that you caught him on camera. 🙂
Glad to hear that your patients are doing better. Eating is always
a good sign of recovery. I bet they are enjoying the wonderful
care you are giving them:)

Thanks Kimme. The pine marten is a bit like a ferret/meerkat. He’s cute/
Great pics – brilliant capture. Cooking and photography at the same time – true multi tasking!

He’s really cute, I just hope he keeps visiting.
