I was thrilled to arrive home to find this beautiful basket of flowers yesterday from the lovely people at Feehily’s Florist. They also sent an invitation to their Easter flower arranging night so I’m looking forward to that.
There was a great reaction to my squirrel photo yesterday and a lot of people have been asking where to see them in Sligo so I thought I’d do a quick post.
Yesterday was a lovely day. Rapunzel and Thumper, two seals that were rescued in Sligo during the summer were released back into the wild. Seal Rescue Ireland do an amazing job with sick and injured seals, rehabilitating them, and getting them back to full health before they are released.
Seal Release Ireland are releasing the two seals tomorrow, (Sat. 5th November, 2016) Rapunzel and Thumper, and they would love you to come along to help support them and bid them farewell!
Today I went along to Culleenamore Beach near Strandhill, Sligo to see three seals being released back into the sea.
