Yesterday there was a festival held in O’Connell Street to promote and maybe keep the street pedestrianised.
A few years ago it was a one way street to traffic. At the moment it is meant to be pedestrianised, although this doesn’t seem to affect delivery drivers and even the occasional tourist that doesn’t realise the street is closed and drives down it.
Anyway there was a festival held and for once the sun was shinging.
There was music and entertainment all day. It was a great atmosphere, although it was a shame there wasn’t a market held in the street as well.
