Well what do I have to tell you?
We are still all obsessed with the War of the Worlds…..Andy did me an mp3 disc of it for Bertie (the car) so it’s on all the time….and I still don’t know all the words, but if Jeff Wayne is looking for a fourty something Beth for the next tour then I’m the woman š
Last week was the festival in the village, the weather was lousy. So much so that the family day on Sunday got called off. All the events in the pubs went ahead though and we could hear the ‘singing’ from here….so I’m catching up on lost sleep this week. The photo was taken on Friday night, the donkey looks very impressed with his reflection.

Today I took Jono to his computer club and Lucy came shopping with me. We bought a grand total of……nothing! There were sales on but most of the stuff was rubbish. There were a lot of people walking around the town wearing purple, yellow and green, I thought for a moment I’d stepped into a strange ‘Barney the dinosaur’ kind of world and then to top it all off I’ve been playing the Smurf song today….I think I’ve lost the plot. Just to annoy you here is the song:

Those are the shopping trips I like best… cash still in the purse! Doesn’t happen very often with these kids though… a trip into Meadowhell for lunch and the cinema last week cost the same as a weeks food shop, it took 3 rounds with the receipts and calculator for me to believe it!! *gulp*!

It made a lovely change not to spend any money…I don’t think it’s going to last though.
Hah, the smurfs! Wasn’t it strange that there was only one female smurf called “Smurfette”? Did they take turns with her or what?
Love that donkey ! Having a severe case of envy here, where you live looks gorgeous and very well taken photies ! No, I’m not jealous at all, me trying to take photies always give hours of amusement to my children.
I love the donkey – he’s a sweetie!! Confession time – I didn’t listen to the song I didn’t want to be singing it all day!!!!
