Into the great wide open

I’ve had a migraine for the last couple of days, I really should go to the doctors as I get these far too often. Anyway it finally went off earlier today and I feel fine now.

I was taxi driver today for Lucy who went into Sligo with her friend….shopping….shoes of course!

In this new house we have a dishwasher….and I’ve never had one before (oh I’m so hard done by!) anyway it’s rocket science trying to fathom it out….meself and himself had the dishwasher tablets, rinse aid and salt stuff…isn’t it technical…and then it takes about 4 hours to wash the things. I don’t think I’ll be using it that often but it’s all good fun, especially when Andy spilt half the salt all over the kitchen.

We are watching the Eurovision tonight, no one to cheer for as Ireland isn’t in it. I do like Graham Norton presenting though.

  1. we have eurovision fever in our house too 🙂
ella walks around singing “… dum tek tek”
it’s too much- i need a hidey hole!!

  2. Good to hear you are feeling better – brought on by the stress of moving do you think?
…I had a dishwasher once but it was harder work for me as the kids left me to load and unload and it was expensive to run…. i sold it and taught them how to wash and dry up!!!!

  3. This photo is stunning…I love it!! Ooh a dishwasher – it will change your life!! When we moved into our current house there was only space for a washing machine or a dishwasher and not both (until we found somehwere else to plumb the otehr one in). I chose to fit the dishwasher rather than the washing machine!! Can’t live without it. Took the clothes to the laundrette!!
