Oh my goodness…..firstly I’m watching Britains got Talent, oh dear, surely some of this must be staged??? There was a 49 year old singing Fame, very out of tune and dancing like a looney….she didn’t even know the words. if you were going onto a tv show you would at least know the words.
Anyway I’ve rambled. This has been an odd week. It started with us putting an acknowledgment in the Sligo Champion for dad, then taking mum around the bed shops. She picked a bed from Sligo House Furnishers, the salesman was lovely, really friendly and funny. He made mum test all the beds out….I’m just thankful she didn’t invite him to join her!
As regular readers to my blog will know I had a major blip in the middle of the week, so thanks once again for your very kind words. I think it was just a mix of everything. We are still fighting to get a ‘scribe’ for Jono to do his Junior Cert. That is someone who will write for him as with his curved spine he finds it impossible to write or type for more then 10 minutes at a time and then he is in agony, but trying to get the Department of Education to understand that is mad. I’m still waiting for letters from the surgeons but as the exams start in just over a month we are running out of time. It’s like banging your head off a brick wall.
On top of all that we are moving…..I really can’t wait. The new house is amazing and I really don’t like living in the village. I feel hemmed in, so I can’t wait to get back out into the countryside again.
Lucy went to see the Zac Effron film today with her friends. She actually said that David Van Day in his younger days was better looking then Zac….do you see that Yummy Mammy!!! π
this is an amazing photo- well done!!
i’m so glad you got the new house, it’s fabulous & will suit you guys so much better π
You are brain washing the poor child. You do know there are laws about such things. Van Day is no Efron. Disney would never employ Van Day. They couldn’t afford his hairspray bill π
Glad you’re back to your usual self. But just remember, I’ll always join you in banging the head off the brick wall. It’s my favourite passtime xx
