After two years of cancellations the St. Patrick’s Day events are back. It’s quite hard to find all the information so I’ve gone searching and added all the parades and events I’ve found here.
17th March – St. Patrick’s Day – The Parades
12 noon Sligo Town Parade. A shorter route and going down O’Connell Street this year. Full details here.

12.30pm Enniscrone – starting at the Diamond Coast Hotel and heading to Easkey.
2pm Grange Parade
3pm Easkey – and heading to Dromore West.

4.30pm Aclare Parade. Register your float at Kilmactigue Community Centre from 3pm.
17th March – Other events
Enjoy a St Patricks morning with a difference with Northwest Adventure Tours. Hike Sligo’s famous table topped Benbulben and return to the Riverside Hotel Sligo for a complimentary Irish Coffee perfectly timed to catch Sligo towns St Patricks day celebrations. 1pm – 4pm Drumcliffe Rosses Point GAA are hosting their popular St Patrick’s Day Hot Pot event at Harry’s Bar in Rosses Point
1.30pm Intercultural Event at The Model Sligo – Full details here:

1.30pm Ej Sligo All-Stars Club Fundraiser – Cake sale at the Mercy Canteen, Sligo town.
2pm Sligo town, after the Parade on St Patricks Day with local favourites, ‘The Roast Band’ kicking things off. There will be a day full of live music with Irish Folk Legends Stocktons Wing headlining that night.
4.30pm After the Dromore West parade there will be music and entertainment in the Dromore West Community Centre.

The Sligo St. Patrick’s Festival continues on Friday the 18th and Saturday 19th with live gigs in the Stephen Street Car Parks. Full stage times for all the music here:

On Friday 18th there will be a FREE Family Friendly street Carnival from 4-6pm in Stephen Street Car Park and surrounding areas. There will be a host of street entertainers as well as Samba Bands, Live DJ and Face Painters.
