Andy Parsons; Patience

Sometimes you go to an art exhibition that speaks to your soul. One that moves you and takes you back to days spent in hospital corridors and nursing homes. Hours sitting beside a bed, listening to rattling breathing. Being handed tea and biscuits. Remembering kind words and sympathy. Looking at walking frames without owners. Hearing life go on around you when you are stuck in a bubble of thoughts. Patience by Andy Parsons at The Model, is that kind of exhibition.

Andy Parsons has captured the very essence of the hospital environment in this very powerful exhibition. You have to go and see it.

You can read more on The Model, Sligo website but you have to visit Andy’s Patience website to get the full story and see the videos https://patience.ie/

The exhibition runs until December 23rd. Pay a visit, you’ll be glad you did.
