Blooming lovely

When I was in my old job this plant used to sit on my desk. I would talk to it, water it and generally look after it. In the three and a half years I was there it did nothing. When I left my job I took it with me, 7 months on and it has bloomed! I’ve done nothing different to it.

I was chatting to a friend yesterday who reminded me about two plants that were left in a classroom. One was spoken nicely to and one was bullied. The bullied plant withered. I’ve found the link for this, it was done by IKEA,  some people think it’s a fake experiment. I don’t know if it is fake or not but you can read more about it here.

Anyway back to my plant. I much happier lately and it’s like the plant is reflecting my mood. I do wonder why it didn’t flower so so long and now it is. Happy days for the plant.
