The big news

I know I’ve hinted for a couple of weeks about big news and if you follow me on Twitter you’ll already know so here goes. I’m very excited to be starting a new job on Monday!

I will be Digital Media Specialist (ooh fancy!) at Momentum Consulting. I can’t begin to tell you how thrilled I am about this. I first met Orla, who runs Momentum, at the launch of Taste Leitrim. I was very inspired by her and watched her progress and success from afar. I never thought I’d be working for her but there you go, dreams do come true.

To begin with I will be helping to look after the Social Media for Taste Leitrim and The Food Hub (so give us an old follow). Talk about living the dream, you know what a huge interest in food I have and in Social Media, so this is perfect. There will, I’m sure, be other things on the horizon and who knows I might even get the photography mojo back.

I am nervous though, I’m going to be the ‘new girl’, which is always a bit worrying. I’ve met a few of the team already though and they seem lovely. I’ll let you know how things go.
