Chocolate and peanut butter biscuit cake

So it’s Friday and I’m not feeling the best so I decided it was time for something sweet. This isn’t at all healthy but it does taste delcious, even if I say so myself 🙂

All the ingredients came from Lidl, best thing is that it only takes about 5 minutes to make, mind you it only takes 5 minutes to eat too! I’ve tried various different biscuit cake variations but this is the family favourite so far.

Recipe:

200g milk chocolate
50g dark chocolate
1 dessert spoon of chocolate and hazelnut spread
1 dessert spoon of crunchy peanut butter
Half a packet of milk chocolate digestive biscuits
1 Caramel & biscuit bar (like Twix)

Method:

Break the chocolate into squares and melt it in the microwave (just do it for 30 seconds at a time and stir in between or it’ll burn). It only takes a minute to melt.

Add in the chocolate and hazelnut spread and the peanut butter and stir well.

Break the biscuits up into small enough pieces and add them into the chocolate mix, again stir well.

Spoon the mixture into a dish lined with cling film and put it in the fridge (if it lasts that long!) Let it set for about an hour and then cut it into slices.
