As it was Halloween yesterday we headed up to Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh. This is our 3rd year of going up and makes a change from sitting at home waiting for the windows to be egged! In fairness it only happened last year, so I suppose it could be worse.
We have had brilliant weather, you’d never think it was the end of October/November. As we were driving into Enniskillen the reflections on the River Erne were just beautiful so I went for a wander along the river bank.
I had a quick look around some of the shops but I didn’t really buy much as the exchange rate is so bad at the moment and it does make some things expensive. I did get Lucy some dairy free bits though.
The fireworks were amazing, I think this was the best year ever and it certainly helped that the weather was so mild. Where we were standing on the bridge we couldn’t hear the music but there was music to go along with the fireworks. Andy did a bit of video from down near the main viewing point so if he manages to put it up online I’ll add it to the blog.
Well done to all concerned on a lovely night. The rest of my photos are here.
