Cry Me A River

Cry Me A River

I was walking down Grafton Street in Dublin and saw this poor person asleep in the doorway of River Island. It’s like two different worlds.

That is such a haunting but all too shockingly real – or should that be surreal – sight. Not to mention heartbreaking. All we can do is to help in any way we can. But sadly, even then, it’s never enough…they need so much more…and this is where not only community/NGO help comes in, but also, on a much larger scale, help from as many governmental agencies as possible, Why is it that certain strata of society gets big bail-outs, while there are still so many who are in such desperate need, but cannot find or get or receive help? Why?
