It’s all about Half Moons today on the blog. We had frost this morning which cleared and gave us a lovely day…much needed after all the rain we’ve had. I had a bit of time before drama so I headed to Half Moon Bay in Hazelwood, Sligo and this was what greeted me.
I’m doing a photo a day for the year and todays subject was blue so the photo above was my pic for today.
This afternoon was another half-moon, this time the real one. It’s odd to see the moon with a blue sky, it’s pretty though.
Great photo. Love the silhouhetted swans.
Thank you 🙂
Beautiful photos, Val. Especially the gorgeous afternoon half moon bathed in blue – you’ve got to enter all three of these somewhere – a magazine, a competition, a calendar…somewhere! Or get them framed and sell them – they’re all so calming (blue does that for me) and serene.
Thanks June, I never print up any of them…I’m shocking!
Beautiful photos, Val. Peaceful. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
Thanks Karen 🙂
Beautiful Half Moon shot, I can never get moon shots like that, what type/size lens are you using ?
Thanks Gerry, it’s the Canon 1100D camera with a 75-300 lens.
