Christmas at Boyle Model Railway

IMG_7208Jono and I headed along to Boyle this morning to have another look at the model railway (and to see Santa!!) The railway has really come on well since we were there in the Summer. A big well done to all involved, it’s looking great.

IMG_7272Derrick from the Boyle Men’s Shed was telling Jono all about the trains and the layout (that’s not Jono in the photo by the way, that’s a little lad who was so impressed with it all his mum couldn’t get him to move, bless him).

IMG_7306Thomas the tank engine is even in Boyle! Who’d have thought it.

IMG_7221It’s great value as well. €5 per child and they get a visit to Santa and a present. There is also a quiz for the children to do and they might win a prize.

IMG_7324The Boyle Model Railway is open every weekend before Christmas from 11am-5pm. It’s only €5 per child and includes a gift from Santa. You can find them on Facebook.
