Breaking down for Christmas

Before you worry it was me personally that broke down it wasn’t – not today anyway! Today was meant to be a day of rest as it was St. Stephen’s Day or Boxing Day depending on which side of the pond you live in but things don’t always work out the way you planned.

      It’s been a lovely day here in our house, just the four of us plus our two furry members of the family. A very laid back, relaxed day once the cooking was done.

Driving home for Christmas

Well we are all together for Christmas as a family once again. I went over to Athlone on Thursday to collect Lucy from college, she’d just finished her last exam for the year. Bless her when I arrived she had a gorgeous buffet ready for me, it was so sweet of her.
