SUP for the Irish Cancer Society

DSCF8774On Sunday I went along to Trawnee Bay on the shores of Lough Gill by the Isle of Innisfree to take photos of some SUP’ers who were taking part in a SUP in aid of the Irish Cancer Society. James and Sean two very brave lads are climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa in January 2014 and are hoping to raise €6040 for the charity. They have more events coming up so be sure to keep an eye on their Facebook page. To sponsor them please click here.

David -SUPforallDavid from SUPforall was on hand to advise us of how to SUP, along with his friends and helpers. There was a great atmosphere on the day and everyone really enjoyed it…even the ones who got a bit wet 😉

Lough Gill ToursAs I didn’t want to drown my camera I went along with Eddie from Lough Gill Tours in his boat. Both SUP and Lough Gill Tours are wonderful ways to see Sligo and both so relaxing.

DSCF9075Even the locals were interested in the events 🙂 The rest of my photos are here.
