Sligo Summer Festival

This weekend saw the Sligo Summer Festival take place in town.  I got to see quite a bit of it yesterday although I missed the events on Friday night.  There was a great buzz about the town.  I loved the stunt bikers….would love to be able to do this 😉

The evening concert was great and it was all free.  I got to see Glenn Cal who was brilliant.

Tabby was up next and he really rocked the place.

The Ragamuffins were amazing, a great band.

Sharon Shannon was amazing.  She smiled the whole time and really seemed to be enjoying herself, her band were brilliant too.

If there concerts weren’t enough there was also a carnival.

All too soon the festival came to an end.  Well done to all concerned on a great event, the rest of my photos are here.
