Today’s letter is H…I feel like I’m on Sesame Street! 😉
H is for horse. I love horses, I think they are beautiful animals, this one lives up the lane and comes over to say hello twice a day when I walk the dog.
The Holy part is for The Holy Well. It’s a beautiful place, so peaceful and relaxing, even though I’m not the slightest bit religious I always enjoy visiting here.
It was lovely to see some flowers in bloom as well, we haven’t seen many of them this year yet.
The last two photos are a bonus, this is The Glen. It’s a little hidden gem in Strandhill. It’s also known as The Fairy Glen and it’s rumoured the ‘little folk’ live here. I think there could be some truth in that rumour.

The glen used to be bigger but one of the “landed gentry” wanted to build a house there and he dynamited one end of it.
Oh no, that’s awful 😦 The only thing now with The Glen is that too many people know about it and on the last visit I saw glass bottles thrown around the place 😦
The glen looks like a place in a fairy tale. Amazing to know a real place like that exist. I want to visit!
